Mira deVorsha’s Response to Khan

The following post is  a guest contribution from Mira deVorsha. This address to Caldari Militia is a response to the address from Khan, and does not reflect the views of FactionWarfare.com or any of its staff. This is an article submitted that was wanted in a public location for everyone to see. That aside, we are now accepting guest contributions. Have a crazy recap of fleet action?  A tutorial for those just breaking in to factional warfare?  Something else FW-related?  Send it our way to staff@factionwarfare.com.

Greetings to Members of the Caldari Militia.

I have Read Khans post on here and would like to set the record straight.

I posted personal information in General militia and an Achmed Intel/lounge channel (a channel for specific people in Caldari militia and friends) and in this I was wrong and I apologize for my short sightedness. Khan and I have never really gotten along due to personality conflicts.

I would like to publicly say sorry to Khan for posting his real name, and for telling people in my fleet to look it up in a sex registry. In this I was completely out of order and I deserved the 14 day ban I received.

However, Khan decided to embellish the truth and wrote that I have posted more information than I did. I never posted his Facebook, personal address or phone number. This is blatantly untrue and, in fact, I do not even possess this information.

The war that Khan started between GHIOT & BORG was counterproductive to the militia and I would like to apologize my fellow Caldari that may have been affected. Everyone said, “I’m not going to be involved,” until Khan attacked me while I was logi for a fleet within the Militia. Khan, blinded by his high level of emotion, decided that his personal vendetta was more important than the ability for many, non-involved players, to simply enjoy the game.

Khan pushed the militia to help him but for many this is just a game and they are not interested in assisting in personal crusades. It is unfortunate that so many were affected by this. In an effort to keep the tension low I ordered my corp to not shoot war targets unless fired upon first.

Only a couple of the people closest to Khan shot at us and the rest flew with us in fleets with no incident. I would like to thank the very professional CEO & members of The Mjolnir Bloc for not engaging and for talking to me about this the moment you had a chance. Most of all I would like to thank my members for standing by me even with my obvious faults. Also I would like say sorry to the members of the Achmed channel for the drama which I know we all hate. I hope now that Khan has left we can move on and forget all this.

I have learned from this error and will seek to never again make such a blunder.
Fly Safe.

About Subsparx

Subsparx has been playing EVE for 10 years now, dabbling in many things but avoiding Null-Sec. He spends most of his time supplying militia with various services, from information and news articles to a public TeamSpeak and Forum, which sadly results in undocking less often than he would like.

  1. *Slow clap*. This is about as classy as it gets in CalMil, gang.

As a militia member not personally invested in either side, but familiar with both, I have to agree with the assessment that Khan’s lack of emotional control and wacky personal crusades/grudges/witchhunts have more often than not gotten in the way of militia cohesion and fun. I’m truly excited for him to apply his talents to the Gallente cause.

    Good for you, Killer.

  2. Kind of a messed up thing to say about anyone though, regardless of whether it’s just a joke or not. I guess it’s okay in Eve to call someone a sex offender. Thank God we don’t have to have ANY manners or respect for privacy online. Mira, you should go work for the NSA. I’m sure they would love someone like you who isn’t afraid to publicly slander their competition.
